Apple Blossom Cottage is our place on the farm in Teigngrace. It's really old, from the 13th century. It used to be the kitchen for the main farmhouse.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. You get your own bit of garden.
It's on a working beef farm, about 250 acres. The river Teign runs along the boundary. It's quiet. There are chickens around, so you might find fresh eggs sometimes. The kids can go and see the farm animals if they want.
The stairs are steep. It's that old, thick cottage stone.
You can use the outdoor heated swimming pool on site. There's also a dog walking area, about half an acre, if you bring a pet.
The shop and pub are about a mile away in the village. For beaches, you've got Teignmouth, Dawlish, and Goodrington all within about 20 minutes by car. Dartmoor is about a 30 minute drive. The Dartmoor National Park site has walking routes.
Paignton Zoo is close, maybe 15 minutes. For a day out, you can get the ferry from Teignmouth over to Shaldon or down to Dartmouth. The steam railway runs between Paignton and Kingswear.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved pet is allowed.
