Vine Lodge
Vine Lodge is one of four cottages here at Little Dunley, just outside Bovey Tracey. It's detached, so no shared walls. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The cottage looks out over the fields. You get your own enclosed garden with a table and a BBQ. Inside, there's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The heating and hot water come from a biomass boiler on site, and there's an electric car charger if you need it.
On the site there's a shared indoor heated swimming pool with a sauna. There's also a games room with a pool table, table tennis, that sort of thing, and an all-weather tennis court. Everything's included.
You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. You can walk onto the moor from here. Bovey Tracey is about ten minutes by car for shops and a few places to eat. The nearest proper beach is probably Teignmouth, which is about twenty minutes' drive.
For days out, Dartmoor is the main thing. Dartmoor National Park has all the walking routes and information. If you're heading to the coast, the National Trust looks after a lot of the beaches and headlands down there.
Facilities: parking right by the cottage, WiFi, TV, washing machine, towels and bedding are provided. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
