Middle Wicket is in Trusham. It's quiet, at the top of the valley. It's a detached house, so no one attached to you.
The house sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is for the condition and the kitchen with its oak worktops. It's an upside-down house, so the living room is upstairs. That's because of the view. There's a balcony off the living room where you can look out over the fields. We've seen deer on the hillside from there.
The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub out there. In the garden shed, there's a children's pool table.
The local pub and a restaurant are about 300 yards down the lane. Decent. The nearest shop is two miles away in Christow.
For things to do, Canonteign Falls is two miles up the road. Haldon Forest is about fifteen minutes by car. They have walking and cycling trails and a Go Ape. You're right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
Exeter is about a twenty minute drive. It has the cathedral, shops, and Crealy Adventure Park. Newton Abbot racecourse is a similar distance. The coast at Teignmouth or Dawlish is about half an hour.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, TV, WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a stairgate if you need it, and parking for a couple of cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
