Right, Middle Wicket. It's a detached house in Trusham, in the Teign Valley. It's a quiet spot. The house is what they call upside-down, so the living room and kitchen are upstairs. That's because of the views. You get a balcony off the living area and you can see right across the valley. We've seen deer on the hillside from there.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The kitchen has oak worktops. The garden is enclosed and there's a hot tub. There's also a shed with a kids' pool table in it.
The local pub is about 300 yards away, they do food. The nearest shop is two miles, in Chudleigh. The coast is about ten miles if you want a beach day.
Things to do: Canonteign Falls is just two miles away, it's a good walk. You're right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, so walking and cycling from the door is easy. Haldon Forest is about 15 minutes drive, they've got trails and a Go Ape. Exeter is about 20 minutes away for shopping, the cathedral, or Crealy Adventure Park for kids. Newton Abbot and Exeter have racecourses.
For facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate if you need it. You can bring one dog.
