Scenery Cottage
Scenery Cottage is in Bridford, right in the middle of the village. It's an old place, used to be the village school. You can see the church from the window.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms so that's handy. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and functional.
The front room looks out over the fields. There's a wood burner in the kitchen area. Wi-Fi is fine. TV works.
The stairs are steep. It's that kind of cottage.
You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, all the bedding and towels are here.
The pub, the Bridford Inn, is a few minutes' walk. It does food. Shop is in Dunsford, about a ten minute drive.
For walks, you can just go straight from the door onto the moor. Haldon Forest is about a 15 minute drive, they have trails and a Go Ape. Dartmoor National Park is right there. Canonteign Falls are close, maybe four miles.
If you want the coast, Teignmouth is half an hour. Dawlish is about 35 minutes. Exmouth is 40 minutes if you fancy sailing or paddleboarding.
