Cherrytree Cottage
Cherrytree Cottage is one of two barns we converted, on our farm here in Pathfinder. The farm's about 65 acres. We're at the top of the Teign Valley, so it's proper countryside, but Exeter is only five miles away if you need a city.
It's set up for two people. It's got two bedrooms but they're both doubles, so it's really for a couple, maybe with a baby in a cot. There's one bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's comfortable.
The cottage has its own little garden. Then there's a fishing lake that you share with the other barn. There's a bench there. It's a nice spot if you just want to sit. We've got sheep and cattle around the place.
Inside, there's a wood burner. It makes it very cosy in the winter. We include all the bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside.
The local pub that does food is about two miles away. The nearest shop is three and a half miles, so you'll likely drive for groceries. The coast is about a 15 mile drive.
For walks, you're right in the Teign Valley, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dartmoor is a short drive away for bigger walks. You can go fishing in the lake, and there are places for horse riding and golf nearby.
