The property is called Sundance and it's on a site called Horselake, just outside Cheriton Bishop. We're about eight miles from Exeter, so you're in the countryside but not in the middle of nowhere.
It's one of six converted fruit barns on the same grounds. You get your own private yard or garden, but you can also use the ten and a half acres of shared land. There's a decent heated swimming pool, a games room with a pool table and darts, and a kids' play area. It's a five star place, which means it's well-finished and you get things like a welcome pack when you arrive. It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, and there are three bathrooms.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
The location is good for getting about. You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. For a walk, the Castle Drogo and Teign Gorge area is a straightforward drive. A local pub and a shop are within a mile.
Exeter is less than half an hour's drive for shops or a day out. The coast at Dawlish or Teignmouth is about the same. If you want to plan more days out, the Visit Devon site is useful.
