Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is in Cheriton Bishop, which is on the edge of Dartmoor. It's a single-storey bungalow attached to my house. You get your own patio and garden. The view looks out over the lake and fields.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The stairs thing isn't an issue here, it's all on one level. You can park right outside.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in the village. The pub does food. If you want a meal without going out, I can sometimes do an evening meal here, just ask in advance.
You're literally a mile from the northern edge of Dartmoor. The walking is right there. For a specific walk, the Teign Gorge is good. Castle Drogo is nearby too.
Exeter is about eight miles east. That's where you'll find the big shops, the cathedral, and that sort of thing.
If you fancy the coast, Dawlish is about half an hour's drive. Torquay is a bit further.
Facilities: There's WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's fishing on the lake here if you're into that.
