Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is in Cheriton Bishop. It's attached to our house, but you have your own space. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring one dog.
The main thing is the view. You look out over our lake and fields. There's a patio to sit on.
The pub is about a mile away in the village. It does food. The village shop is there too.
You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. It's about a mile to the national park boundary. Great for walks. We have coarse fishing on the lake here if you want it.
Exeter is eight miles away for shops and that. Dawlish Warren for the beach is about 13 miles. Torquay is a bit further, maybe 30 minutes in the car.
For days out, Castle Drogo and Fingle Bridge are close. The National Trust Dartmoor site has walking ideas. The Dartmoor National Park website is useful.
It has Wi-Fi, TV, parking. All bedding and towels are included. We can do an evening meal for you sometimes if you ask ahead, using local stuff.
