Oakwood Venbridge Farm
Oakwood Venbridge Farm is a bungalow near Cheriton Bishop. It's detached, so nobody's next door. The garden is yours to use.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom is a wet room with a walk in shower. It's rated 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well fitted out. Being all on one floor, there are no stairs to worry about.
It's a proper rural spot. You look out over fields. The owner lives on the farm too, and they can do evening meals if you want them, for a small cost. They use local produce.
You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. It's about a mile to the National Park boundary. The walking from the door is very good. There's coarse fishing available on the farm itself.
The village of Cheriton Bishop is a mile away. It's got a shop and a pub that does food. Both are fine.
For days out, you're well placed. Exeter is eight miles east for shopping and the cathedral. Dartmoor is right there for walking. The Teign Gorge and Castle Drogo are close by. The National Trust page for Castle Drogo has opening times. The coast at Dawlish or Teignmouth is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. You can bring one dog.
