Discovery
Discovery is one of six cottages here at Horselake Farm, off the A30 near Cheriton Bishop. They used to be fruit barns. It's set in just over ten acres of shared grounds.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable and modern.
What you get here is the space, really. There's an outdoor heated pool everyone can use, open from May to September. There's a games room with a pool table and darts, and a small gym. If you've got kids, there's a play area too.
You have your own private patio garden, but you can walk around the fields. It's quiet. You'll see sheep.
The farm is about three miles from the River Teign if you like fishing. The nearest pub and shop are about a mile away in Cheriton Bishop.
For days out, Dartmoor is very close. You can be up on the tors in about fifteen minutes. Exeter is about ten miles east, that's your main city for shopping or the races.
The coast at Dawlish or Teignmouth is about a twenty minute drive. Castle Drogo, the National Trust castle, is maybe twenty-five minutes away. The website for walks in the Teign Gorge area is National Trust Castle Drogo.
In the cottage: it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
