Nut Tree Farm

Nut Tree Farm is on the Ashcombe estate, near Dawlish in Devon. It's a big detached farmhouse that sleeps 28. There are 13 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and kept to a high standard.

The house is practical. It has woodburning stoves, a games room, fast WiFi, and Smart TVs. The kitchen has dishwashers and there are washing machines. Bedding and towels are included. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. Parking is on site.

You can bring up to two dogs. The property is wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor wet room and grab rails in some bathrooms.

Outside, there's a playing field and a children's play area. There's also an outdoor swimming pool for the summer months. The heated indoor pool and sauna are at Woodhouse Farm, which is a short walk away on the same estate.

The Ashcombe Adventure Centre is less than a mile down the lane. You can book activities like clay shooting and quad biking there for an extra cost. There's also a forest activity club for kids on the estate called 'A Touch of the Wild'. The Ashcombe Village Club opens some evenings. There are guided foraging walks on the estate every Tuesday.

The coast at Dawlish is about a 20-minute drive. Torquay is about half an hour. Dartmoor National Park and Exeter are also about 20 minutes away by car.
