Squirrels

Squirrels is our place in Teignmouth. It's a detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac, so it's peaceful. You can see a sliver of sea from the back garden.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's a home, not a hotel. The master bedroom has a super king bed and an en-suite shower room.

The beach is about a twenty minute walk downhill. You can go through the park and a bit of woodland, which is nicer than walking on the road. It's a steady walk back up, just so you know.

The garden gets the sun and we've put a patio and seating out there. The conservatory is a bright spot if you want to sit inside but still feel like you're in the garden.

Teignmouth itself is a proper seaside town. There are fish and chips, a few nice restaurants, and the usual attractions. The local pub is about a ten minute walk.

If you want to explore, Dartmoor is about half an hour's drive inland. Torbay, with Torquay and Paignton, is about twenty minutes along the coast. Exeter is about half an hour away.

For facilities, you've got the main things: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
