Beachside

Beachside is a terraced house in Teignmouth. It's about three or four minutes walk from the beach. It's a Grade II listed building from the 1820s.

It sleeps six, over three floors. There are three bedrooms. One is a double with its own shower cubicle in the room. Another is either a king or two singles, you choose. The third bedroom is up on the second floor, and it's a king room. It has a view out over the rooftops towards the estuary.

There's a family bathroom and a separate toilet. The stairs are steep in places, it's that kind of house.

Living space is on the ground floor. There's a kitchen and a dining room with patio doors out to a courtyard garden. The sitting room has a big smart TV.

The town is a typical seaside place. There are two beaches very close by. One is 50 yards away, which is shingle and sand. The main sandy beach and the pier are about a five minute walk.

You can get a ferry from Teignmouth across the river to Shaldon village.

Teignmouth is on a good railway line that runs along the coast between Exeter and Paignton. You can get to Exeter, Dawlish, Torquay and Paignton easily without a car.

Dartmoor is less than half an hour's drive away. You can walk up to Haldon Hill or Haytor in about 20 minutes by car.

The house has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. We cover the cost of parking in a nearby public car park for you.

No pets sorry.
