Appletree Apartment
Appletree Apartment is on the coastal road above Maidencombe. It looks out over the road to the sea. You're about 600 yards from the beach and the village pub, which does food. It's a terraced holiday apartment, part of a small complex in the owner's garden.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
The enclosed patio garden is sunny and private. It's down some steps from the apartment itself, so it's separate. There's parking on site.
Maidencombe Beach is a short walk downhill. It's a sheltered cove with a cafe. The South West Coast Path runs right past it. You can walk from there along the clifftops towards Babbacombe or Watcombe.
Torquay is about four miles away. It's got all the shops and seafront things you'd expect. For days out, Paignton Zoo is good, or you can drive onto Dartmoor in under an hour. The National Trust looks after a lot of the local coastline.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
