Sandringham Heights
Sandringham Heights is a bungalow in Paignton. It's in a quiet street, mostly houses, not a tourist spot. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog or if you've got kids. There's a summerhouse out there too, which is a bonus if you want to sit outside but not in the sun.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. Being a bungalow, there are no stairs inside, which makes it easier for some people. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
You're about a mile from the sandy beach at Paignton. The shops are half a mile for basics. There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile and a half away.
For days out, Paignton Zoo is very close. Dartmoor is about half an hour's drive inland, for walks and seeing the ponies. Dartmouth and Kingswear are a short drive too; you can see the castle or get a boat trip on the river. There are plenty of National Trust places nearby if that's your thing.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and parking right there. Bedding is included. You can bring one dog.
