Kittiwakes - 7 Linden Court
This is Kittiwakes. It's apartment number 7 at Linden Court in Brixham. It's on the first floor. The building is modern, but the location is right in the middle of the old town.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's well looked after and comfortable, not just a basic box.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Brixham harbour at all the coloured houses. Your balcony runs the full width of the living room. You can sit out there and watch everything happening on the water. It's a proper spot for a cup of tea, or a drink in the evening.
You've got a parking space right outside the building, which is unusual for central Brixham. That's a big plus.
You can walk to everything. The shops, the pubs, the fish quay, it's all a few minutes away. For a beach, Breakwater Beach or Fishcombe Cove are about a 15 minute walk. The whole town is on your doorstep.
Inside, it's got what you need: a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi. The heating is partly central for the block, but there are separate electric heaters in the apartment too if you need a boost.
If you want to explore, you're in Torbay. Torquay and Paignton are nearby. The South West Coast Path runs right through. For a good round of golf, Churston Golf Club is a few miles away and takes visitors if you book.
