Kittiwakes is a flat on the first floor. It's at 7 Linden Court in Brixham. It sleeps two people, in one bedroom with one bathroom. It's got a 4 star rating.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Brixham inner harbour, the boats, and all those painted houses on the hill. It's a proper postcard view. You get a full-width balcony to sit out on and watch it all.
It's modern and straightforward inside. The kitchen is new. There's a sofa, a TV, a dining table. It's been done up to a good standard. It's clean and comfortable.
A big plus is the parking. You get your own off-road parking space right outside the building. That's not common for Brixham, where parking can be a hassle.
The flat is right in the middle of town. You can walk to everything. The shops, the fish market, the pubs and restaurants are all a few minutes' walk away. You've got Breakwater Beach and Fishcombe Cove about fifteen minutes on foot.
For heating, there's a shared system for the building that runs at certain times from October to April. You can control your radiators. There are also electric heaters in the flat if you need a bit more.
For facilities, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi included. There's no garden, just the balcony. Sorry, no pets allowed.
If you want to explore, you're in a good spot. Brixham is one of the three towns in Torbay, along with Torquay and Paignton. The South West Coast Path goes right through. The National Trust has a lot of coastline and gardens nearby. Dartmouth is about half an hour's drive. For steam trains and a wooded valley, Dartmouth Steam Railway is in Kingswear, just across the river.
