This is Devon Sands in Paignton. It's a detached house that sleeps a lot of people, thirteen across six bedrooms. So it's good for a big family or a group.
There are three bathrooms, one on each floor basically. The main bedroom has an ensuite and a little balcony over the garden.
The layout is a bit unusual. You come in on the ground floor to the main living room and dining area. There's a spiral staircase that goes down to a bedroom with an ensuite and doors to the garden. It's a kingsize bed that can be split into twins if you need that.
Also on the ground floor is the kitchen, which is a good size with a breakfast bar, and there's a separate utility room with the washing machine.
One thing people notice is there's a bar room off the dining area. It's got optics. It's a bit quirky but it's there if you want it.
On the first floor, there's the main family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. There's a children's room with bunk beds and a high sleeper bed with a short ladder. Then two double bedrooms and the master bedroom I mentioned.
The garden is enclosed, mainly lawn, with a raised decked area. There's a big table and a barbecue there.
Paignton beach is about half a mile away. You can walk it. The town centre is close too, with all the usual seaside things.
For a bigger day out, you're right on the edge of the English Riviera. Torquay and Brixham are a short drive. Dartmoor National Park is about a 30 minute drive inland if you want proper walking. The South West Coast Path is accessible from lots of points along the coast here.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. No pets allowed.
