Seaside Stories is a terraced cottage on the cliffs in Brixham. It sails the flag for four people, with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The main thing about it is the view. It looks straight out over Torbay. You can see the marina and the harbour from the windows and the little garden. There's always something to watch, with the fishing boats and ferries going back and forth.
It's got a fairly nautical theme inside. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not huge, but it's tidy.
You can walk down into Brixham town centre in a few minutes. It's a proper fishing port with steep, winding streets. There are fish and chip shops, pubs, and places selling the day's catch. The harbour is the main event. The nearest beaches are a mix of sand and shingle.
For a sandy beach, you'd want to drive to Broadsands or Goodrington, which is about ten minutes. The Berry Head National Nature Reserve is right there on the cliffs for a walk. It's an old fort with a lighthouse and good sea views.
Further out, you can get to Dartmouth or Torquay in under half an hour by car. Totnes and the start of Dartmoor are within a 30 minute drive too.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one. Parking is on the street outside. Sorry, no pets.
