Wrens Perch is in Brixham, on a hill overlooking the harbour. The view is the main thing. You can see the boats and the sea from the living area and the master bedroom.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-finished and has good appliances. There's a coffee machine, a dishwasher, that sort of thing. The stairs are partially glass with lights in them, which looks nice but watch your step.
One bedroom is downstairs with its own patio. Another downstairs bedroom opens onto a small courtyard. The main bedroom is up another floor and has an en-suite with a freestanding bath. You can see the harbour from there too.
Upstairs is open plan: kitchen, living, dining. There are bi-fold doors that open onto a Juliet balcony. You get the breeze. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. Outside, the garden is on different levels with seating. There's a hot tub.
You're about half a mile from the beach. The town centre, with shops and restaurants, is a few minutes' walk downhill. There's a pub about 350 yards away. Parking is on site.
You can walk the South West Coast Path from the door. Berry Head is close by for a shorter walk. For a day out, you can get the ferry across to Torquay or up to Dartmouth. Paignton Zoo is about a 20-minute drive. Dartmoor is roughly 45 minutes if you fancy a change from the coast.
Pets are allowed, up to two. All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a stairgate if you need it.
