Singer House Apartment
Singer House Apartment is basically right on the beach front in Paignton. It's a ground floor flat. You're straight across the road from the big green, the pier, all those arcades and cafes.
The flat sleeps six. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and has everything you need, but it's not a fancy hotel.
The layout is a bit unusual, I should say. It's all on one level, but the rooms connect in a loop. You can go from the garden into the main double bedroom, or from the garden into the kitchen, then through to that same bedroom. The second bedroom is a couple of steps up from the kitchen. That room is set up for kids, with a double bed and two singles. There are a lot of toys, which is handy.
The garden is enclosed. It's shared, but the other flat is rarely used. There are some toys and a bit of seating out there.
Honestly, you won't run out of things to do. Everything is on your doorstep. For days out, Torquay and Brixham are ten to fifteen minutes by car. Dartmouth and Totnes are about a thirty minute drive.
The flat has parking on site, which is a relief in Paignton in summer. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. There's WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding is included. No pets.
