Harbourside
Harbourside is a first-floor apartment in Brixham. It looks directly out over the harbour, so you get a full view of the boats.
It sleeps four people. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twins. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You're above the road, so you'll hear the general harbour noise during the day. It settles down in the evening.
It's an open plan living space, so the kitchen, dining area and sitting area are all together. Everything you need is there: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. There's a highchair and a cot if you have small children.
You're right on the harbourside. Breakwater Beach is a short walk. The town centre with shops and pubs is just up the hill. The South West Coast Path passes through the town, so you can walk straight out from the door. Berry Head Country Park is nearby for walks and views.
Brixham is a working fishing port. You can get fresh fish from the market. There's a local golf course. In the summer, ferries run from the harbour over to Torquay.
For days out, the National Trust has several properties along the coast. Dartmouth and Paignton are about a twenty-minute drive. The wider Torbay area has beaches and attractions. No pets allowed.
