Harbourside
Harbourside is an apartment in Brixham town. It's on the first floor, up a flight of outside steps from a shared courtyard. The view from the main windows is across the harbour, which is the main thing about it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well maintained, but it's not a brand new place. The steps up to the door are the wooden, slatted kind, so you can see down through them a bit. Something to be aware of if you have small children.
The living area is all one room. Kitchen along one wall, sofa and TV at the other end. The dishwasher and washing machine work fine. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair in the cupboard if you need them.
You're right in the town. The harbour itself is about a two minute walk. The shops, fish and chip stands, and pubs are all on your doorstep. Breakwater Beach is a five minute walk along the harbour wall. You can watch the ferries going over to Torquay from there.
For walking, you can pick up the South West Coast Path in either direction. Berry Head is good for that, about a twenty minute walk. It's a National Trust site. The National Trust page for Berry Head has maps. There's a golf course just outside town.
Within half an hour's drive you can get to Torquay, Paignton, or Dartmouth. For a bigger day out, Dartmoor is about forty minutes away.
