Russell House

This is Russell House in Paignton. It used to be a Victorian hotel back in the 1870s.

It sleeps ten people. There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms, all ensuite. It's got a 5 Star rating. Three of the bedrooms have a clear view of the sea. The main bedroom has a tiled balcony you can step out onto. It looks right over the bay.

The beach is literally just down the road, about a minute's walk. You can see it from the front.

Inside, it's been completely refurbished. It's comfortable, not old-fashioned. There's a games room. The garden is enclosed. Parking is on site.

You can bring one dog. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.

Paignton itself has the harbour and the pier. The local links golf course is very close. For a bigger day out, Overbeck's and the coast path are about half an hour's drive away in Salcombe. You can get to Dartmoor or Plymouth in under forty minutes if you fancy a change from the coast.
