The Garden Flat
The Garden Flat is in Torquay. It's a first-floor flat attached to our house, but it's completely private. You get your own entrance and your own bit of garden.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but don't expect anything fancy. You get a good view out over the valley to the sea from the front.
There's a covered veranda that looks over a large pond in the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs. We allow up to three pets.
You're right on the edge of Lincombe Woods. You can walk through the woods to Wellswood village in about ten minutes. That's got a pub, a small supermarket, a few places to eat, and the usual village stuff. The pub does good food and is dog-friendly.
The closest beach is Meadfoot Beach. It's about three quarters of a mile away down the hill. It's a nice one. Torquay harbour and the marina are about a ten-minute drive if you need bigger shops or want to look at the boats.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's also a shed you can use for storing bikes.
