Avocet 1 - The Cove
Avocet 1 is a ground-floor apartment on the new Cove development in Brixham. It's modern inside, and the main thing is the terrace. It's big, faces south so you get the sun, and it overlooks Fishcombe Cove.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's ground floor and has parking right outside, it's straightforward to get in and out.
There's a swimming pool on the development you can use. You also get a covered store room at the back for kit. It's handy for bikes or wetsuits.
The location is what you come for. You're right by the South West Coast Path. You can walk down into Brixham harbour in about 15 minutes, or to the little beach at Fishcombe Cove in five. Broadsands beach is a longer walk, maybe 25 minutes. The area around it is National Trust woodland.
For a proper day out, Paignton Zoo is about a ten minute drive. You can be in the middle of Dartmoor in under half an hour. Dartmouth is just over the river, maybe a twenty five minute drive.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and the parking is on-site. There's a BBQ on the terrace. No pets allowed.
