Apartment 17
Apartment 17 is on the top floor of Astor House. It's a big Victorian building that's been split into flats. The layout is a bit unusual because of that. You get a sea view from the front windows.
It sleeps six, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean inside. The stairs up to the flat are the main building stairs.
You're right in Torquay. The town centre, harbour, and beaches are a five to ten minute walk downhill. The nearest beach is about 350 yards away. There's a shop around the corner and a couple of pubs and restaurants a few minutes walk.
You get a parking space on site, which is useful. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
If you want to use a pool, your booking includes free membership to the Imperial Hotel leisure centre, which is nearby. You can book sessions.
For things to do: Paignton Zoo is about a mile away. Kent's Cavern and the model village are in Torquay. The steam railway runs from Paignton to Dartmouth. You can get boat trips from the harbour.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Totnes, which is an old market town on the river, or onto Dartmoor for walking. The National Trust and Dartmoor National Park sites are good for planning walks.
