This is Apartment 17 at Astor House in Torquay. It's one of several apartments in a big old Victorian house that's been done up. It's a south-facing building, so you get the sun and a view of the sea.
It says it sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It means it's well-finished and comfortable.
The location is handy. You're about a five minute walk from the main beach and the harbour. There's a shop and a pub a few minutes away. For a proper swim, the main beach is fine. Meadfoot Beach is nicer if you want somewhere quieter, it's about a mile along the coast.
You get on-site parking, which is useful in Torquay. There's a washer and dryer, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets allowed.
If you want a day out, Paignton Zoo is close. Kent's Cavern is here in Torquay, and the model village is a bit of fun for an hour. The steam train from Paignton to Dartmouth is a good trip. Dartmouth itself is about half an hour by car, or you can get the ferry. Dartmoor is roughly the same drive.
