This is Glamping Pod 1. It's on our smallholding in Dainton, just outside Newton Abbot. It's a new build, a sort of small, wooden lodge. You get views over the fields from the front.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. There's a sofa bed in the main room if you need it, but it's really set up for a couple. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and finished to a good standard.
You come in through French doors into the open plan room. There's a kitchen area with an oven, hob, and fridge-freezer. A table and chairs, and a TV. The decked area outside has a couple of those reclining garden chairs. You can sit out there and look at the fields. We've got some animals here, mostly sheep.
It's a quiet spot. We're here if you need anything and can sometimes show you around the place if we're about.
The beach is about four miles away. For a proper day at the coast, the English Riviera spots like Torquay are within a half hour drive. There's good walking from the door in the countryside, and the South West Coast Path isn't far if you want dramatic sea views.
In terms of what's here, it's all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. The patio is enclosed. There's a BBQ you can use. You can bring up to two dogs.
