Swift Cottage
Swift Cottage is one of two cottages on our land, just outside East Ogwell village. It’s detached and you get your own garden. The view is across fields.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's tidy and comfortable, not huge but it works.
The kitchen, living and dining area is all one open plan room. That's how it was built. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
There's a pub about a ten minute walk away. They do food. The nearest shop is in the village, about a mile.
You're about eight miles from the coast. Teignmouth and Shaldon are the nearest sandy beaches. Dartmoor is maybe a twenty minute drive away. Good for walks. You can see the tors and ponies.
For cycling, Haldon Forest has off-road trails. Go Ape is there too if that's your thing. There are a lot of National Trust houses and gardens around here. Newton Abbot racecourse is close. Exeter is about half an hour away.
