Huccaby Lodge - 3 Indio Lake
Huccaby Lodge is a one-bedroom lodge on a small site called Indio Lake, just outside Bovey Tracey. It's a detached, modern build. It sleeps two.
The main thing about it is the view. The big windows and French doors look straight out over the water. It's very quiet there. You get a decked terrace and a private hot tub that faces the lake.
Inside, it's all open plan. One bedroom, but two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-finished and has things like a dishwasher and a washing machine. It's clean, comfortable, and feels a bit more private than some holiday parks.
You're right on the edge of Dartmoor. You can walk straight out onto the moor from the site, or drive a few minutes into the National Park. Bovey Tracey is the nearest proper town, about a five-minute drive. It's got shops, cafes, and a few pubs.
Within half an hour you can be in the middle of Dartmoor, at Haytor, or down to the coast at Teignmouth. Newton Abbot and the historic town of Totnes are also close by if you need a bigger supermarket or want to look around.
On site, there's fishing if you have a license. The local pub is a short walk away.
