Lake View
Lake View is one of four cottages here at Little Dunley. It's in Bovey Tracey, right on the edge of Dartmoor. You're in the countryside, but not far from town.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which I think reflects the fact it's modern and well-equipped. The walls are cottage walls though, so you might hear a bit from next door if it's full.
You get your own enclosed garden with a table and a barbecue. The main view from the front is over the fields.
There's the shared heated swimming pool and a sauna in the main building. The games room has pool, table tennis, that sort of thing. There's also a tennis court and a fishing lake on the site. All that's included.
Bovey Tracey is about a five minute drive. There's a decent Co-op, some cafes, and a few pubs. The local one you can walk to in about twenty minutes.
You're basically on Dartmoor already. You can drive onto the high moor in a few minutes, or walk from the door. For the coast, Teignmouth is about twenty minutes by car. Torquay and Paignton are about half an hour.
In terms of facilities, it's got a washing machine, a wood burner, WiFi, and all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
