Lake View

This is Lake View, one of four cottages here at Little Dunley. It's on the edge of Bovey Tracey, right by Dartmoor. You've got about twenty-four acres to look out over. The view from the back is fields and trees, no other houses in the way.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One's upstairs, one's downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-finished, not just basic. There's a wood burner in the living room. The garden is enclosed, with a table and a barbecue.

The main thing here is the shared facilities. There's a heated indoor swimming pool you can book slots for. A games room with a pool table, table tennis, that sort of thing. Also an all-weather tennis court and a fishing lake in the meadow.

Bovey Tracey is a five minute drive. There are a couple of supermarkets, some good pubs, and nice cafes. It's a proper Dartmoor town.

You're on the doorstep of the moor. You can drive five minutes and be walking at Haytor. For a day at the coast, Teignmouth or the beaches around Torbay are about twenty minutes in the car. Exeter is half an hour away if you need a city or the train station.

In terms of stuff here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. We've got an electric vehicle charger on site. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.

A couple of useful links if you're planning: Dartmoor National Park for walking maps and advice, and National Trust Devon for local places like Parke.
