Acorn Cottage
This is Acorn Cottage. It's in Bovey Tracey, Devon. You can see the edge of Dartmoor from the front door.
It's one of four cottages. All detached. Sleeps four, two bedrooms. Two bathrooms, which is handy. There’s parking right outside.
Inside, it’s clean and comfortable. There’s a woodburner. The kitchen has a washing machine, and bedding is supplied.
Your garden is fenced. There’s a barbecue and outdoor table.
The shared stuff is on site. There’s a heated indoor swimming pool you can book sessions for. A games room with a pool table and table tennis. And a tennis court.
Bovey Tracey is a five minute drive. Good for basics. There’s a decent pub in walking distance.
You’re on the edge of Dartmoor. You can drive five minutes and be on the moor. Good for walking, cycling. You see the ponies.
The coast is about twenty minutes away. Teignmouth has a sandy beach and a pier.
For a day out, you've got places like Dartmoor National Park itself. Or the steam train along the River Dart at Paignton. Both are within half an hour.
Because it’s part of a small group of cottages, you might see other guests around the pool or the grounds. It’s private, but not remote.
