Scrumpy Barn
Scrumpy Barn is on our farm in Luton, near Teignmouth. It's a converted barn. We live and work here, so you'll see the cows and tractors going about.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main living space is open plan.
You have your own garden area with a table and chairs. The view looks out over our fields. It's quiet, but you'll hear farm noises sometimes.
The local pub is about 200 yards down the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away in Bishopsteignton.
Teignmouth beach is less than ten minutes by car. It's a proper seaside town with a pier and promenade. For walking, you can go straight out from the barn onto the farm tracks and public footpaths. We're about 20 minutes from the edge of Dartmoor.
If you want a day out, Exeter and Plymouth are both within half an hour. The National Trust's Greenway is nearby, which was Agatha Christie's holiday home.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We also have a shared games room with a pool table and table football in an outbuilding.
Sorry, no pets. There's parking right outside.
