13 Great Cliff
13 Great Cliff is an apartment. It's one of a block called Great Cliff, and this one's number 13. It's in Dawlish, right on the seafront.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is quite handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The big thing about this place is the location. You're literally a one minute, flat walk into the town centre along the sea wall. The historic railway line from London to Penzance runs directly between the apartments and the beach. You hear the trains chuffing past, which some people really like. A quiet beach is just over the footbridge to the left. The view to the right looks right across the bay towards Exmouth.
In Dawlish itself, there are the usual seaside shops, cafes, and a couple of supermarkets. The famous black swans on the Dawlish Water are a short walk away. For a longer stretch of sand, Dawlish Warren is a few minutes drive away, or you can get the train.
Exeter is about twenty minutes by car or train. The Exeter to Plymouth coastal railway line itself is very scenic, if you fancy a trip without driving. Further along that line is Teignmouth, and eventually Plymouth. Dartmoor is about a forty-minute drive inland.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and parking. There's a walk-in shower in one of the bathrooms. No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
