Brook Cottage
Brook Cottage is in Dawlish. It's a terraced house right in the town. Sleeps seven, has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
You come in the front door. To the right is the kitchen and dining area, with a fridge and freezer under the counter. To the left is the living room. Off the kitchen there's a room with a daybed that turns into a double. That room has its own shower and a washing machine.
Upstairs on the first floor there's a double bedroom and the main bathroom. The bathroom has a corner bath. It leads out to a small rooftop terrace with a table and chairs.
There's another, steeper staircase up to the second floor. That's where the other two bedrooms are, a twin and a single.
Dawlish is all on your doorstep. Shops, pubs, places to eat, the beach. It's about a quarter of a mile to the sand. The town has gardens, a crazy golf course, a theatre. The beach is sandy.
For walking, you're right on the South West Coast Path. A footbridge takes you towards Teignmouth one way. The other way, you can walk the sea wall to Dawlish Warren, which has another beach and things to do.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Exeter or Exmouth. Exmouth is the start of the Jurassic Coast. Torquay is about twenty minutes. Dartmouth and its steam railway are about forty minutes. For a big day out, Dartmoor National Park is under an hour's drive.
Facilities are what you'd expect. WiFi, TV, parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
