Primrose Cottage is on the main street in Teignmouth, on the seaward side. It's a terraced house. The front door opens straight onto the pavement, which can be busy, but you're about sixty seconds from the beach and the promenade.
It sleeps six, but that's with using the sofa bed in the living room. There are two proper bedrooms upstairs: one king, one twin. One shower room. It's a four-star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Refurbished last year.
The stairs are quite steep and narrow. It's an old cottage. The garden out the back is a real sun trap. Fully enclosed, so it's safe for kids or dogs. You get two parking permits for the public car park, which is a three-minute walk away.
You can walk everywhere. The train station is two minutes away if you fancy a day out without the car. The beach is shingle at the top but sandy when the tide goes out. The South West Coast Path runs right along the seafront.
Teignmouth itself is a proper old seaside town. Good fish and chips. A few nice pubs. The ferry goes over to Shaldon, which is a pleasant afternoon trip. For a longer day out, you can get the train up to Exeter in about twenty minutes. Dartmoor is half an hour by car. The Bovey Tracey / Haytor side is the quickest to get to.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, WiFi, a smart TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. It says luxury, which might be a bit strong, but it's definitely very nice and has everything you'd need.
