Primrose Cottage is in the middle of Teignmouth. It's a terrace house. The beach and the train station are literally round the corner, maybe a minute's walk.
It sleeps six, but that's with using the sofa bed in the living room. There are two proper bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed and one with twins. There's one bathroom with a shower. It got a 4 Star rating after a refurbishment last year, so it's tidy and fresh.
You've got a little walled garden out the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a patio with some furniture.
For the town itself, it's all there. Fish and chip shops, a few nice places to eat, the usual seaside things. You can get the ferry over to Shaldon, which is nice for a walk. The train is useful for getting to Exeter without the car.
If you drive, Dartmoor is about half an hour away. The Dartmoor National Park site has walking routes. In the other direction, places like Torquay and Brixham are within 30 minutes. Paignton Zoo is about a 20 minute drive.
What's here: wifi, a smart TV, washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
For general planning, the National Trust Devon page and the South Devon National Landscape site are good.
