Poppy

This is Poppy. It's on the coast road above Maidencombe. You're part of the main Victorian house, not the newer extension. It's for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The garden is about an acre, shared with the other cottages here. It looks out to sea. It's a quiet spot, good for wildlife.

You're about a ten minute walk down to Maidencombe beach. It's sheltered. There's a thatched pub in the village about the same distance. The coastal path is right there.

Torquay is two miles away. That's where you'll find most of the shops and things. Oddicombe Beach is also close. The walk down is very steep through the woods. Most people use the Babbacombe Cliff Railway, which is a funicular that's been running since the 1920s.

Babbacombe Model Village is nearby. For a longer day out, Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth are all within an hour's drive. There's plenty of National Trust land and houses around.

Facilities: your bills are included, there's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one dog. There's parking here on site.
