Apartment 8, The Bay
Apartment 8 is on the fourth floor of a modern block. It's the one on the corner. The main thing is the view over the bay. It's good.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on one level which makes it straightforward. The open plan bit means you can all be in the same room. The kitchen has everything you'd need.
You can walk down to the seafront and harbour in about twenty minutes, maybe less. The marina's down there. There are two main beaches nearby. Torre Abbey Sands is probably the closest. If you drive, Babbacombe Beach is about five minutes away.
The place is all on the level inside and the main entrance to the building has wheelchair access, but there is a lift to get up to the fourth floor.
Torquay's got all the usual things – the Princess Theatre if you want a show, plenty of places to eat, a leisure centre. Paignton and Brixham are a short drive along the coast. You can get to the Dart Valley from there, or over to Dartmouth and Kingswear for the ferry.
For local walks, the South West Coast Path goes right past. Exeter is about half an hour if you need a city. Dartmoor is a bit further.
There's dedicated parking for one car on site. We allow one well-behaved dog. Wi-Fi, TV, towels and bedding are all included.
