Apartment 2
This is Apartment 2. It's one of the Bedford Holiday Apartments in Paignton. It's a ground floor flat.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other has a single. There's one shower room.
The main room is open plan. There's a kitchen area, a dining space, and the lounge. A door leads straight out into the back garden. It's a shared garden space with the other flats, but it's a decent size. You can sit out there.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxurious. It's a good, straightforward place to stay.
The main thing is the location. You are right near the seafront. Literally a couple of minutes' walk and you're on the promenade. The beach is there, the pier, arcades, crazy golf, restaurants. There's a big Vue cinema. You don't really need to drive if you're just planning a beach day.
For a day out, you can get the steam train from Paignton. It goes to Kingswear and you can get the ferry over to Dartmouth. Torquay and its marina is about ten minutes in the car. Brixham, which is a proper fishing port, is about fifteen minutes drive the other way.
Facilities are what you'd expect. There's a TV, WiFi, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
