This is Shipshape, in Brixham. It's a three-storey house right by the marina, so you look out at the boats.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is en-suite to a bedroom on the ground floor. The other two bedrooms are up on the top floor. The master bedroom has a small balcony.
The main living area is open plan, on the middle floor. Sliding doors open onto a balcony with a table. It gets the sun in the evening. You can sit out there with a drink and watch the harbour.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well-equipped. There's a dishwasher, wifi, and parking for one car on site. You can bring one dog.
You're right in the middle of Brixham. The fish market, shops, and pubs are a few minutes' walk down the hill. The proper working harbour is the main thing here.
For a swim, there's Shoalstone Pool, which is a seawater lido on the rocks. The South West Coast Path runs right past the house. A good walk is out to Berry Head, which is a nature reserve with an old fort. It's about a 30 minute walk, or a short drive.
Within half an hour's drive you can get to Paignton, Torquay, or Dartmouth. For a bigger day out, National Trust Devon properties like Coleton Fishacre or the Dartmoor tors are about 45 minutes away.
So it's straightforward. A modern house in a good spot if you want to be right in a fishing town.
