Shipshape
Shipshape is in Brixham, on the harbour. It's one of a row of houses built into the hill so it's on three floors. Two bathrooms, three bedrooms. Sleeps six.
The main living floor is in the middle. There's a balcony you can sit on and watch the boats in the marina. You can see right across the harbour.
The stairs are fairly steep because of how the house is built. It's fine if you're steady on your feet. One double bedroom has its own balcony and an en-suite. Another double is on the ground floor.
Being right on the harbour means you step out the door and you're in the middle of everything. There are fish and chip shops, pubs, and shops selling fresh fish a minute's walk away. It's a working port, so it can be busy and there are seagulls.
For a swim, there's the lido at Shoalstone Pool. Good walks start from the door along the South West Coast Path. Berry Head is a short walk and has great views.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Torquay, Paignton, or Dartmouth. Dartmoor is about 40 minutes if you fancy a change from the coast.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on the driveway. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
