42 Moorings Reach is a first floor apartment on a modern development overlooking Brixham marina. It's got a three-star rating from Visit England, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers, which is handy. You can bring up to two dogs.
The main thing is the balcony. It runs the length of the living room. You get a proper table and chairs out there. It faces the marina, so you can sit and watch the boats. It's set back a bit from the main quay, so it's quieter than you might think, but you're still right in the middle of things.
Walking into town takes about five minutes along the harbour wall. You've got all the shops, fish and chip shops, and restaurants down there. The Golden Hind replica is there if you want a look. For a proper beach day, you've got Breakwater Beach nearby, or you can drive to Broadsands which is good for sand.
If you like walking, the South West Coast Path goes right through. You can walk to Berry Head in one direction. It's a National Nature Reserve. Good for spotting seabirds. In the other direction, you can walk towards Paignton. The steam train from Paignton to Kingswear is about a twenty minute drive if you fancy that.
For facilities, it's got the usual: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. There's parking for one car right outside. The building is one of several in a crescent, so it's not a standalone house.
