This is Ranscombe House. It's in Brixham, overlooking the outer harbour. It's a semi-detached house, attached to where I live. It was a guest house a long time ago.
It sleeps twenty people. Eight bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. It's big. Good for family get-togethers or if a few friends want to go away together.
Downstairs there's a kitchen and a big living and dining area. On the lower ground floor there's a bar area with a pool table, Sky Sports, and some games. There's also a small snug room if you want somewhere quiet.
Outside, there's a garden. It's lawned and enclosed. You can park about twelve cars on the drive. There's a barbecue.
The town is right there. You can walk to the harbour, the shops, and restaurants in a few minutes. There's a pub about a hundred yards away. Breakwater Beach is about a five minute walk.
For walks, you're right on the South West Coast Path. Berry Head is a National Trust spot and a nature reserve. It's a proper cliff top walk.
In terms of other places, Torquay's about twenty minutes by car. That's where you'll find most of the family attractions. Paignton Zoo is good. Dartmouth is maybe half an hour away. Agatha Christie's house, Greenway, is near there and run by the National Trust.
The house has the basics: WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher, TVs. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to four dogs.
