The Garden Cottage
The Garden Cottage is a flat on the ground floor of a Victorian house in Torquay. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
The living area looks out over the rose garden at the front. There’s a small courtyard garden there with a table and chairs. It’s a good spot for a coffee or a drink. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
One bedroom has a king size bed and a TV. The other has a double bed and a TV. The bathroom has a shower. There’s a separate toilet. The decoration is a bit of a mix. There’s a patterned feature wall in the toilet.
You can park on the driveway. There’s an electric vehicle charger.
Meadfoot Beach is about a ten minute walk away. There’s a cafe there. The town centre and the harbour are downhill, maybe a fifteen or twenty minute walk. Torre Abbey Gardens are close by as well.
For a day out, Babbacombe Model Village is a ten minute drive. Paignton Zoo is about twenty minutes by car. You can get to the edge of Dartmoor, to places like Haytor, in just under half an hour. The South West Coast Path runs right through Torquay if you want to walk.
