The Garden Cottage is in Torquay. It's the ground floor of a house, so it's flat once you're inside. You get your own entrance and a small walled courtyard out the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. One bathroom, which is separate from the toilet. The toilet has some unusual monkey-themed wallpaper, just so you know. The stairs to get down to the front door are fairly steep. There's parking for one car on the drive, and there's an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, it's been recently done up. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher and washing machine. The living room has an arched window that looks onto the rose garden. Both bedrooms have TVs.
Meadfoot Beach is about a ten minute walk away. There's a cafe there. The town centre and the harbour are a bit further, maybe twenty minutes on foot or a few minutes in the car.
For a day out, you can drive to Babbacombe Model Village or Kent's Cavern. Paignton Zoo is about fifteen minutes by car. The South West Coast Path runs right along the coast here if you like walking. For wider planning, the National Trust and English Riviera Geopark sites are useful.
Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
