Below Deck
This is Below Deck. It's in Torquay, my place. It's a one-bedroom apartment on the lower ground floor of our house. We live upstairs.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a big bed, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's there and it's well looked after. You can bring one dog.
The location is quiet, but you can walk into town. It's downhill on the way there, about ten minutes. Walking back is uphill, which is worth knowing. The beach and marina are about twenty minutes on foot.
Inside, it's a good size. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is a galley style, but it's got everything you'd need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The patio out front is enclosed, so it's secure for a dog.
Torquay town has the usual shops, cafes, and restaurants. For things to do, Kent's Cavern is prehistoric caves right on the edge of town. The South West Coast Path is easily reached for walking. You can get ferries from the harbour to Paignton or Brixham.
