Glamping Pod 2
It's called Glamping Pod 2. It's on our smallholding in Dainton, just outside Newton Abbot. You get views over the fields.
It's a new single-storey lodge, so everything's on the ground floor and it's wheelchair friendly. It sleeps two in a kingsize bed. There's a sofa bed in the living area if you need it, but it's really best for two. The shower room is en-suite.
It's got a proper little kitchen with an oven, hob, and fridge-freezer. There's a TV in both the living area and the bedroom. Outside, there's a decked area with a couple of those zero-gravity chairs and a BBQ. The garden is enclosed.
You can bring up to two dogs. We leave out a portable dog wash and towels for them.
We live on site, so we're usually around if you need anything. We're happy to show you the smallholding if you're interested.
Location wise, you're about four miles from the coast. The closest beach is at Teignmouth. For walking, you're well placed between Dartmoor and the South Devon coast. The Templer Way footpath is nearby. For a day out, Totnes, Dartington Hall, and Brixham are all within half an hour's drive.
There's a golf course and fishing nearby. A few pubs and restaurants do decent food a short drive away, some are known for their pies.
The Pod has a 4 Star rating. Bedding and towels are included, there's WiFi, and parking right next to it. We can provide a cot. If you're coming with another couple, you can book Pod 1 as well, they're identical.
