Courts View

Courts View is in Newton Abbot. It's a top floor flat, above the garage in our house. You get the whole floor to yourselves. It's bigger inside than it looks from outside. Big windows, high ceilings. It looks out over Forde Park.

It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well kept. The bed is a decent size. The shower works well.

There's parking right outside the flat. You get your own little patio area too, with a table and chairs.

In the flat there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are provided. Everything's electric.

Newton Abbot town is about a ten minute walk. Everything you need is there: a big Tesco, some shops, a few cafes. The train station is handy if you don't want to drive. There's a pub, The Jolly Farmer, a few minutes walk away.

Torquay is about fifteen minutes in the car. That's where the marina, the theatre, and most of the restaurants are. The beaches at Torquay and Babbacombe are good. Maidencombe beach is smaller and quieter. We keep leaflets for various places in the flat.

Dartmoor is close. You can be up on the moor in twenty minutes. It's good for a walk. You'll see the ponies. Dartmoor National Park has maps and information.

For a day out, the National Trust places nearby are good. National Trust Devon has the list. Agatha Christie's house at Greenway is interesting.

If you book in November or December, we leave you a small hamper with some festive bits in it.
