Robin Cottage
Robin Cottage is in East Ogwell. That’s a small village a couple of miles from Newton Abbot. It's a bungalow, so no stairs at all. It’s part of a pair called Higher Tor Cottages, but it's detached and you get your own garden.
Sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are double rooms, so it's more for two couples or one couple with older kids. You get two bathrooms, which is handy.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. That means it’s well kept, modern and comfortable. Everything works.
The layout is open plan. Kitchen, dining, and living area all in one room. It's a good space. There’s a washing machine and a dishwasher.
The property sits in a 17-acre shared field that belongs to the owners. The views from the garden are over the Devon countryside. It's quiet.
A pub and restaurant are about a five-minute walk up the road. The village shop is a mile away.
For days out, Dartmoor is a 20-minute drive. You can walk the tors or have a cream tea. The coast’s about eight miles. Teignmouth and Shaldon have sandy beaches.
If you want activity, there’s Go Ape at Haldon Forest or the cycle trails through there. Newton Abbot and Exeter both have racecourses. Torquay is nearby for boat trips or the theatre.
Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets.
