The Vinery
The Vinery is in Marldon. It's a Devon village, about three miles inland from Paignton. The house itself is old. Parts of it date back to the 1400s. It's been renovated recently, so everything works and feels new inside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a double bed, the other has twins. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, which is normal for a place this age. Something to be aware of.
Downstairs is one open room. Kitchen, dining area, and living space. It's been done in light colours. There's a corner sofa, a Smart TV with Netflix, and a dishwasher and washing machine. The garden is at the front. It gets the sun in the evening. There's a table and chairs out there.
You can bring one dog. We ask that they stay downstairs.
There's parking for one car on the drive, and you can usually find space on the road if you need it.
In the village there's a shop, a post office, and a pub. The pub does good food. There's a children's playground and some recreation fields a short walk away, which are useful for dog walks.
You're well placed here for getting around. Paignton and its beach are about ten minutes by car. Torquay is about fifteen minutes. Totnes is maybe twenty. For Dartmoor, you drive up to Bovey Tracey which takes half an hour or so.
