Goodrington beach is literally two minutes' walk. You can be on the sand that fast. Paignton harbour and the town centre are about ten minutes on foot. All the shops and restaurants are there.
It's on a quiet road but you're right in the middle of everything. You don't really need the car once you're here.
For facilities, it's got a dishwasher, wifi, and that on-site parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're looking for day trips, the National Trust has a few places nearby like Coleton Fishacre. Dartmouth and Brixham are a short drive along the coast. Torquay's the other way. You can get to the edge of Dartmoor in about half an hour if you fancy a change from the sea.
