The Coach House Protea is in Paignton. It's a one bedroom place that sleeps three. It's a 4 star rating, which means it's comfortable and everything's been updated properly.
It's a coach house conversion on the grounds of a big Victorian villa. When you walk in, you're walking through the old arch where the horse and coach used to go. It's got the original beams and windows still. It's been modernised, but it keeps that character. It's not huge, but it's laid out well.
It's in Chelston, which is a quiet, leafy part of town. Good for coming back to after a busy day. You can walk down to the seafront in about ten minutes. From there, you can walk along to Torre Abbey Sands and the harbour.
There's a patio garden area for you to use. On site parking too, which is a bonus round here. It's got a washing machine. There's a local pub nearby.
For things to do, you're well placed. Paignton Zoo is very close. The beaches at Goodrington and Paignton are right there. Torquay harbour and the marina are a short drive or a decent walk along the coast path. Dartmouth and Brixham are under half an hour by car.
