Puffin 2 - The Cove
This is Puffin 2. It's part of a group of places called The Cove, just on the edge of Brixham. It's an apartment, not a cottage, but it's on the ground floor which makes it easier for getting in and out. You can park right outside the door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean inside.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Battery Park and the sea. Both the living room and the main bedroom have doors that open onto a big decked balcony. You can sit out there. It's a south-facing spot, so you get the sun.
You can walk down to the beach from the development. The land around it is National Trust woodland, so there are paths right there. It feels a bit separate from the town, which is quiet.
Brixham harbour is about a fifteen minute walk. That's where the fish market is, and the shops and most of the restaurants. You can get boat trips from there.
Within half an hour you can drive to Paignton, Torquay, or down to Kingswear for the ferry to Dartmouth. The South West Coast Path runs right past.
It has a washing machine and a dishwasher. There's WiFi. There's also a shared swimming pool on the site you can use. No pets.
