Riviera Mansion, Torquay
Riviera Mansion is a big flat in a huge Victorian house overlooking the bay in Torquay. It's on two floors, sleeps eight, and has four bathrooms, one for each bedroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's very well done and has all the mod cons.
The main thing is the view. There's a large, south-facing balcony that runs along the front. You can see right across Torbay. It gets the sun. You can watch the boats.
Inside, it's grand. High ceilings, big windows. It's been modernised but it still feels like a proper old place. The living room and dining room both open onto the balcony. There's seating for everyone. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a utility room with a washing machine and a full-size table football table.
Upstairs are the four bedrooms. Two have king-size beds, two have twins. They're all big and each has its own bathroom. Some have a bath, some a walk-in shower.
You can walk to Torre Abbey Sands beach. It's sandy. The harbour and the town centre are also a short walk away, with all the usual cafes and shops. The Princess Theatre is nearby if you want a show.
There's on-site parking. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
