This is Ottery Tor. It's in Maidencombe, which is a small village on the coastal road about four miles north of Torquay town centre.
It's a ground floor apartment that sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. The place is clean and functional. The bedroom and living space are open plan. The front door opens straight into the main room.
You're about 600 yards walk from Maidencombe Beach. It's a sheltered little beach with a cafe. The Thatched Tavern pub is right by the beach too. There's a shop a couple of miles away in St Marychurch. Golf is two miles away.
For walking, the South West Coast Path runs right past. You can walk to Watcombe or down to the beach easily. The owner's information mentions the walk from Watcombe to Maidencombe is popular.
Torquay is a fifteen minute drive. It's got the usual seaside things: shops, a theatre, lots of places to eat. The Living Coasts zoo is there if you like that sort of thing. Babbacombe is close by with the Model Village and Bygones.
Further out, you can get to Dartmoor in about forty minutes. Exeter is roughly half an hour's drive.
Facilities included: there's parking on site, a TV, WiFi, and an enclosed patio area. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
